This will be the same window that you use for composing original posts, too. In fact, you can make this composition window/text field really really big!<br><br>1. Go to the top of the page and click on "Control Panel".<br>2. Go to the bottom of your control panel page, and click on the word "Edit" to the right of where you see the line:<br> " Display preferences, number of shown threads, languages, colors..."<br>3. Go about 3/4 down the page, until you see the settings "TextArea columns?" and "TextArea rows?"<br>4. Enter new values in the corresponding text fields to achieve the size you feel is comfortable. This will require experimentation.<br><br>The maximum column setting is 200. The maximum row setting is 50. These are both far too big, IMO. I would suggest using half these figures as good start points, and continuing to split the difference, up or down as you prefer, until you achieve a window/text field size that you feel is comfortable.<br><br>(And hopefully, this will only encourage Tom to write more. )
