One problem I see as badly in need of a fix (which I don't see coming anytime soon) is fragility of the electrical grid. Even if you have your own generator, a prolonged breakdown would disrupt many systems, and produce a lot of desperate people.

No prep will be adequate from here on out, at least for the stuff that most self-identified 'preppers' are trying to prepare for. I'll continue to prep for the stuff I've always focused on such as weather events and unexpected unemployment/financial emergencies. But I've also prioritized keeping up a good stock of 5.56, 9mm and .40 cal ammo and work to keep those firearms in good working order.
