However, your local political/social situation should be a factor in any planning. It should NOT be a discussion agree/disagree sort of thing but a frank appraisal of your location and personal situation.
I have and continued to modify what I have and how I plan as I age and as my community/area evolves. I would prep differently if I lived just outside a small rural Iowa town as compared to being in an apartment on the south side of Minneapolis. The local 'rules, regulations and expectations' will differ place to place and are a part of planning but not a good/bad discussion point. With that, an exchange of how people are adapting to the things changing (or NOT changing) in their area will be very interesting,
