The dung all around was a sight
From the smell we'd get no respite
Leave it alone for a while
In an undisturbed pile
And soon it will be coprolite

uhh, that's all I got.

An off-colour verse in a desperate fight
has power to reset your thought and your sight;
if you're in a pickle
and chuckle a little,
you may just come through it all right.

Dudes, these limericks are hysterical. I remember singing the knight's one at the tops of our lungs at Boy Scout Camp. Good job Barbakane on incorporating "coprolite"!

Our limericks are most scatological
They have gone well beyond archaeological
Since our humorous delight
Now extends to coprolite
We’re getting downright paleontological!

A ready made solution is available.
Simply purchase a "free standing raised toilet seat"
These are sold by many suppliers of mobility and healthcare equipment.
They are intended to be used with a standard type of flush toilet.
They can be used on any firm and level surface, with a bucket under to receive the waste.

And yes I know that this is a very old thread, but the points raised are still relevant.

Good intel adam2 -- but it's not a limerick. Could you rephrase?

I am no good at limericks, others are welcome to have a go.
