Not for nothing I’m about to upgrade my phone to one that has satellite emergency capability. And I think the last time I went for any hike without a power bank was before we had the term “power bank.”

Yikes. I’m glad he’s okay.

Are there any non Apple out yet? I was looking at Garmin's inreach but if there are phones out now that have the capability then it would be worth it to go that route.
