This is pretty bad, Amanda called 911 and gave precise coords of her location, and it appears the dispatcher doesn't understand the degree and minute coords system, and "corrected" her saying it's decimal.
Just think before you judge. How many have driven on dirt roads somewhere out in the wilderness and got stuck and found dead eventually versus how many have driven on paved roads and got stuck and eventually found dead.
It´s OK if you have some business or task to attend to on the backroads, they usually are well equipped for it. But someone just trying to take a shortcut would do better to stay on paved roads.
