Yes, of course that's true. I suggest it may be worth being circumspect in our discussions. I'm mostly worried about multiple troll armies invading this site and giving our mods a ton of grief.

Yeah, war is just an extension of regular politics but an exam of the impact of a war doesn't have to be political at all. grin

Quite right. The cause of war is political. But the effects of war is not necessarely.

The long term result would be the U.S. repatriating a lot of the manufacturing it has outsourced to other countries. Raw materials are a more difficult problem.
