On the anniversary, I attempted to post this. November 13 marks my seventeenth year here.

You feel old? By 2026, I'll have spent half my life here.

For me it was in April of '08. I was thinking it was longer than that but, guess not!

As I ponder upon the experiences of my life, I can't help but notice how much time I have devoted to this particular place. Almost twenty years have elapsed since I first became a part of it in my youthful twenties, and soon I will be crossing the threshold of my fortieth birthday. It's a thought that fills me with both amazement and unease. In three short years, I will have spent half of my life in this place that has shaped me in so many ways. It's a humbling realization that has made me reflect on the choices I've made and the experiences that have brought me here.

So, after being here for 17+ year, this forum have been awfully slow the last few years, sometimes it can go weeks without any new writings. Have everybody said what they have to say and not much more is happening?
I´m also on BCUSA-forum and the is much more happening, it´s a lively forum. Perhaps more members than here, I don´t know.

As someone who prepares for emergencies and studies prophecy, I provide information within forum guidelines.

BCUSA has always been a much larger forum and less "niche", I think. Forums as a communications medium have declined compared to other forms of social media. The quality of the posts here has remained high! The signal-to-noise ratio is much better here than at most places, and that's a trade-off I'm happy to make.
