Interesting. I'm a fan of 10mm and these anecdotes reaffirms the importance of reliability, shot placement and penetration.
I was hoping they would detail ammunition used. At least one 10mm hardcast load has been known to exceed 63" of penetration in ballistic gel medium, so it will poke a hole in something important, from any aspect, if you do your part - what many don't realize is that at least one 9mm hardcast load will also, with the additional benefits of weight, capacity, and speed of accurate follow up shots due to milder recoil. While the thought is unpalatable to conventional wisdom, if it's all someone has it's worth considering.
