Bingley: Unique tip is a rubber foot which can be screwed down to extend a short ( about 1/2”) steel semi-pointed tip for gripping in icy or muddy conditions.
CAUTION: I have had such sticks declined by TSA because of the pointed tip. They would not allow it in carry-on ("someone could use it as a spear")
