That's cool Bingley 😎 While my suggestion is not exactly what you are asking for, it might be worth considering a camera monopod. At the price point you are looking at a heavy duty collapsible aluminum pro grade monopod might be worthwhile.

The brand I personally own is a Monfrotto, it's heavy duty and does make a decent walking stick. The downside is that it also makes you look like you have a expensive camera in your backpack.
