I'll probably toddle off about 10 PM as usual, so I better give this to you now -

We'll probably be binge-watching the early seasons of The Amazing Race on Amazon Prime.

A far cry from how I used to spend my New Year's Eve's in my youth!

Sitting in the driveway with a firepit, tossing beers to the neighbors, and then blowing off way too many fireworks as midnight approaches. grin

I'm gonna chill out and keep my head down! 2020 has been actively trying to kill me so I'm gonna lie low and hope 2021 is better!

We will once again stay in, try and calm two of our cats who go a bit nuts from fireworks going off and stay safe from crazies on the roads. Quite a contrast from when we were younger.

Not sure 2021 will be an improvement on 2020, but we can hope.

Wishing you and yours a happy, healthy and prosperous new year.

We have a neighbor that we'll visit for early cocktails and then come home hopefully before any road-related silliness. Mrs. Magnet and I made our own Designated Driver for these events in the form of one of our teens.

Stay at home, avoid the drunks, and greet the New Year....

Am I the only one brought to tears playing this video?

As for 2021, I'll remain here in my foxhole and with my helmet on.

I'll probably sit in the back yard a while... bike helmet on in case something with green tracers goes up, and watch the fireworks...my neighbors traditionally put on a good show
