Pete, that's what I am assuming your name is, over 10 years ago, I sat in my high school library scouring the ETS forums before school began. Being a lower-class high school student in a poor household, I simply couldn't afford a lot of the gear that I wished I had. ParamedicPete sent me a bunch of stuff free of charge, and although most of it is now lost, I still use the first aid pouch daily. I'm not sure where it came from, but it had hels up immaculately aside from stains. Every time I see it or carry it, it reminds me to be that person; it reminds me to give and to be who I needed 10 years ago. It is with the sincerest of wishes that I hope you and your family are doing okay in these tough times. I am forever grateful for your generosity, even if you've long forgotten.

I think this is a good reminder of the impact we can have with our action.
ParamedicPete seems to set a good example to follow.

I doubt that, he has not been on-line since 2016.

Public thanks to a forum member is 100% allowed, and Around The Campfire is the right place for this one.
