Hi guys, does anyone here know about electrically conductive glue or adhesives?

I was trying to repair a laptop today and pulled a thin wire from the power button. The machine still switches on if I hold the wire to the terminal, so I know the computer still works.

However, I don't have a soldering iron with a fine enough tip to resolder it on. I was thinking of glueing it on but I don't know anything about electrically conductive adhesives, could anyone here point me in the direction of some good info?

I have not used the products below but have used something like them in the dim, dark past. Maybe this will give you some ideas?

(oops! bad link)
Try this one...

Check with a local ham/amateur radio type and they may also be able to help with ideas and/or another way to help.

I've used a conductive wire glue for some projects that might work if you apply it with a toothpick or something fine like that, https://smile.amazon.com/Sciplus-Electrically-Conductive-Soldering-Wire/dp/B000Z9H7ZW/. Be cautious!

Thanks guys, at those prices I think I'll try both.

The power button is on a small separate circuit board and I managed to find a replacement (it's an older laptop and I wasn't sure if I could find one) so no big loss if I screw it up.

I don't have a lot of practice with soldering, especially very fine work so these could be a very useful tool.

you can make a smaller tip by wrapping a length of copper wire around your soldering iron top with one end sticking out as a smaller tip.

Here we go, found a image http://electriciantraining.tpub.com/14176/css/Solder-73.htm

Wow, Eugene! I think I’m going to say something to my uncle for not teaching me that when I was small (and could see tiny things without a magnifier)!
