This morning we have been experiencing some small shocks, at least four. Two of the largest register mag 3+ and are shown on the current USGS EQ map. Mrs. H and I have conferred about what this might portend and are we ready. We are as ready as we will ever be and so activities continue as planned.

These shocks could be the classic foreshocks that often precede a big event, or they could not be. Only time will tell.

Life on the West Coast is rarely dull.

I devoutly hope that California gets a break.

Three more jolts this morning (4;10, 5:29, and 5:27 AM) .They make a pretty good alarm clock.
