Here in the US we are currently experiencing out first big Winter storm; feet of snow in some areas and sudden brutal temperature drops.

2 weeks ago, Montana had a real winter storm with up to 5' of heavy wet snow in the shadow of Glacier Park.

Last night/today there is heavy snowfall in the Dakotas and up through to Winnipeg (or as we Canadians affectionately call them - Winterpeg.)

The big storm barely touched us here in Bozeman but it really dumped north and west of it. Looks like my old home in Sioux Falls, SD will be spared the brunt of it this time.
