On a related note, I just got this email from Amazon (I redacted the salutation showing my name, natch):

Signing up for AmazonSmile does make a difference! If you're an Amazon customer you should sign up. I support Knife Rights but there are lots of charities that qualify and it doesn't cost anything extra to the customer.
