who suggested Ragnar as a source. I bought a Mora #731 and a Wetterling small hunter's hatchet. Both items look to be exactly what I wanted and I received them in 2 days. Special thanks go to Mr. Chris Kavanaugh for recommending the Wetterlings in an old post; it's going to be just the thing for my woods rambling.

Ragnar is a GREAT guy to deal with too!! He truely enjoys his work and his knives. Through a lengthy series of emails he taught me how to grind past the lamination without destroying the knife and then ultimately be able to strike a spark with a Mora and a natural flint-type stone. I would highly recommend him as well.

I agree completely. Since this original post I have ordered more of the $8.00-$9.00 Moras (don't remember the models) in stainless and carbon and have received nothing but good service. I've now got Moras stashed all over the place. <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
