I have tested both for an upcoming fishing kit review. I acquired both from Exploration Products in Washingon State. They are listed in our retailer section. Their gill net is good. The speed hook is effective, but for the assembly size you could pack a complete fishing kit. Gill Nets are easily fashioned with the prussic knot. Check Alaskan game laws for legality ( even possession may be illegal). I made several phonecalls to finally learn they were in Calfornia.
