no i think hes talking about hte news reports ive been hearing for awhile about "what if" theres a terrorist threat before the elections etc.

There are countries that hold elections even as the voters are being machine gunned at the polls, and you want a plan "B" if some "YAHOO" attacks one little corner of the US.

The only plan "B" that Congress should enact, and the President should sign is summary execution of any US elected official that tries to delay the election.

Delaying elections is a dictator tactic and should be severely dealt with to keep any potential wannabe American dictators swinging from light poles on the main streets.

Precisely for something of the Reason you give!, -They the Politicians Wouldn't now Enter into Considering this, -Just Lightly! It is Certainly Something to Give some Thought to! And Well maybe some Preparations too!

There are Conditions in which Governments, Governors, and Such Must Genuinely Declare Martial Law! Whether or Not that Coincides with an Apparent Power Grab! Are they to be Hand Tied by such an Appearance!, -and Never Do Such?!

Similarly, -There could be Genuine Times and Circumstances where an Election could be Disrupted, -and either an Earlier or a Later Election would be Wise!

September 11th *Was* a Reality! It Did Actually Happen! Two of the Tallest Skyscrapers in the World came Tumbling Down!, -Taking Much Surrounding Else with it! Thousands of Real People and Fellow Americans were Lost! Plus those at the Pentagon, in our PA Field, and on the Two NY Flights.

Who's to say that Another September 11th Can't also Happen?!

To Feel or Act Otherwise, -would be like Assuming that if California has One Quake, -then it's Had it's Quake, -and There will be No More!

I do not believe the people who planned 9/11 were only Muslims who hate America.

I believe the people who planned and financed 9/11 were moneyed interests intent on expanding their oil holdings through military action of a patriotic nature. Yes, I believe some of them are Americans who do not value individual life but love power and money.

You are wrong about anyone being emboldened by the USA going on with elections. If you delay elections because of terrorists actions,wheather big or small, they win. If you have laws on the books that will allow the hanging of any USA elected official who recommends delaying elections, the terrorists can not win because what they do will not affect our election process.

Martial law should only be declared for the integrity of the Nation and not because some jerk politician wants to extend his/her term for a while longer no matter what political party they belong to.
