As many times as I’ve been to Hawaii, I’ve never seen what I’d consider bad weather. Maybe some bad beach weather, but it always seemed hurricanes went the other way.

News reports show empty store shelves and people stocking up on bottled water. why don't they just stockpile tap water in containers. Bottled water is basically a waste of money, although useful in some situations.
Hope all goes well for them. you can't go very far inland on an island.
