Thanks Phaedrus! I think so too. The old guard are in their 80's and fading. I will run with the torch as best I can.

The crazy thing is that the genome innovations found in "lost" varieties of many food crops might possibly feed untold millions in the future.

It doesn't cost me a damn thing to put a shovel in the ground.

Just my opinion.

This is worth a bump.

I try to get two activities in each week. family doesn't like to get out much so i mostly bike as i can cover more ground and get a better workout without my feet hurting.

Because even the smallest bottle of hydrogen peroxide is still a little too big for small kits I found these to test out.

This is known as "memo pad tray". You find it at office supplies
However, you can use it as a make-shift Esbit stove

You could use it as is or make some mods.
For example, make holes in the bottom sheet, and four screws near the corners (as legs) to lift it a bit for better aeriation. or dent it downward to allow for some alcohol gel with the esbit cube. Or simply add a metal jar cap to contain the alcohol gel.

Please make sure there are no plastic or rubber components in it.
And pre-burn it a few times before using it for you cup of coffee.
