String trimmer cord
I found a half spool of string trimmer cord in the free box at a yard sale. Tuened out it was too heavy for my string trimmer so i re-purposed the cord.

I wrestle with this heavy stuff regularly. It's springy and cantankerous -- has a mind of its own. So I understand how challenging it was to make these. Much careful twisting was involved, and it almost takes an octopus to keep it under control.

BTW, may I make a suggestion? It would be better to consolidate all your posts in one thread, and add new projects as they come along. Otherwise, they are lost in the archives. I know other sites may frown on this, but here it's a better approach. My 2c.

It might be easier for folks to find your work if you do it the way dougwalkabout suggests. However, speaking on behalf of the management, your contributions are very highly regarded and I’m happy for you to continue on as you have, if that’s your preference.
