Sigh, I locked the CIA thread. It started out as a valid inquiry and turned into aTom Clancy mini series. When I was in school, this kid wore a huge "Surfers Cross" to class. These were merely WW1 Iron Cross copies. Nobody cared much, nobody but the half dotty southern magnolia librarian who lost a husband in Belleui Woods a half century before. It was ugly. It was Homeric. It made me forget about Viet Nam, my lucky # 7 draft lottery number and the essay due in 45 minutes. I hadn't seen anything like it since my insane aunt hissed ( as dutifully instructed in a 1944 Van Nuys High School civic affairs class) at seeing Emporer Hirohito visiting Washington D.C. I need to confess: I don't care. Talking politics and religion is about as inflammatory ( and dumb) as walking into a Hell's Angels Bar with a Yamaha jacket on. This IS an international forum. If anyone wants to bash France, bring up Armenian grievances with the Ottomans or Cornish seperatist movements TAKE IT ELSEWHERE.
