Note on the equipment. When I wore green the British army personal equipment was rubbish. Now it's cracking stuff at very good prices.
(going to war will do that for you).
The Altberg Defender are the best boots I've ever worn and would retail for about 150 pounds new. I got grade 1 used for 30. Even top price charging company 'Survival Aids' are selling brand new with just cosmetic faults for 90.
Thick wind resistant fleeces with huge pockets for 12 pounds a time.
