my Aerostitch money belt has a 24" zippered compartment... not exactly cheap, and probably a lot of off shore copies available at less price..
I wear a hook/loop closing under belt (Uncle Mikes brand for a competition holster outer belt) as the velcro closure did not scratch my motorcycle tank.. it is very stiff, excellent if you want a belt for inside the pants holster, but not especially comfortable if you don't need it for a specific purpose...I don't think you would like a double stiff belt combination....YMMV

So these are belts for some kind of gun competition? (I'm in Dear Olde England where we guns are banned, because obviously criminals won't then use them. They respect the law that much!)
If they are not intended to be compartment belts, do they actually hold much? qjs

QJS... the style is primarily for continuous open pistol and allied gear carry... mine is aimed at the law enforcement market, but the given examples were for the competition shooters (USPSA is the United States Region for IPSC), I shoot 3 gun (rifle, shotgun, pistol) and use it to carry all the additional ammunition needed for all three... the velcro under belt allows you to have a belt to hold up your pants, and still remove the holster, magazine pouches etc and quickly replace it... they are very stiff to hold the holster in position... the actual ammunition carriers are modular, so I can add or remove them if I shoot just a pistol match
for a typical 3 gun match it gets pretty heavy...,retention holster and a Glock 34, 3 6round carriers for 12ga, 2 30round 5.56 magazine carriers, and 2 18round 9mm carriers... a 30 round shot shell pouch is added for long jungle run courses
regards

Thanks folks. These IPSC belts sound ideal. Don't have to remove them to access the contents and can add pouches in any position. And now I know if I see someone wearing a belt, but I can't see the loops, he's got a gun! qjs

And chaosmagnet has graciously overcome the problem of someone so stupid he can't remember his password and which email account he's registered with! So I'm back with the correct spelling too. Nice to know they respect our privacy enough to refuse passwords to someone claiming to be another contributor. Though I explained I'm so sad I'm the opposite of most men on the net. I keep telling isabelle and blacpacjac I want them to act as dancing girls for me in public post. But have never actually posted either privately :-)
Quick Joey Small has returned from over the wall! :-) qjs

Update Well shows how much I know! :-) They are shipping these belts. At the moment to the people who pre-ordered already. The rest of us will start getting them in August if we order now. https://cache-belt.backerkit.com/hosted_preordersAgain I know nothing about this kickstart thing, so if someone can see this is a scam please inform us soon! qjs

Not impressed. Over-priced, readily available components in a cheap money belt. Velcro closure?? would be better with a zipper closure. This belt will probably go anywhere except through TSA security.
A somewhat shiny metal surface is not a functional signal mirror, although it might be better than nothing. DR offers a much better kit option. And there are many better alternatives for a minimalist kit.
PS: Reviewing this thread, I see I am merely repeating an opinion I stated earlier.. At least I am consistent
