Four rescues in 2 days - - Coconimo County, AZ

In three of the four cases, the rescuee was in trouble due to injury ( 2 falls, one medical emergency (details unstated)). In the fourth case, the rescuee lost the trail.

In two of the four cases, it wasn't clear how the rescuers were alerted - in the other two, it seems it was by cell phone.

They were busy, all right, but that level of activity is not all that exceptional. Note that none of the operations were particularly long lasting. Years ago, in Pima County, we had three rescues in one day, which was a bit tiring. From what I have heard, their activity level has only increased.

Multiple call out weekends with large populations are fairly common. They are not so common in more rural counties like Coconino.
