I'm looking online for information about the
ACR Model 9521 Floating Pouch - a yellow neoprene pouch for the ACR ResQLink.
I can't find many reviews online, but on Amazon it looks like several people have tried to slide a ResQLink+ (the version with the buoyant "roll cage" around it) into the pouch and it is too snug and the flap barely fastens.
I can't find this product listed on ACR's web page to learn more about it.
Do any of you own this pouch? From what I've learned it really is designed for the regular non-floating ResQLink, not the plus version that does float.
When the regular ResQLink is inserted into the Floating Pouch ...
Does the combo float in water? I've read that it adds "buoyancy", but I don't know what that means. It could mean that it floats, or it could mean it just sinks more slowly.
Does the pouch's flap close fully/securely with the ResQLink inside it? The reviews in Amazon shows a picture of a ResQLink+ in the pouch, and it clearly barely closes.
If you have this pouch, is there any chance you could post a picture of it with the ResQLink inside of it, so I know how it fits??
