Cruising through my local Costco the other day, I was delighted to find a pack of ten AA Eneloops (1900 mah, made in Japan) for $20 (well, I exaggerate, the actual price was $19.99). Much better than what I usually pay.

This is not the assortment they have had for some time that throws in a charger and a few AAAs.

I saw that at our local Costco too. I was glad to see it. I had just bought a pack of Eneloops from Amazon a few months back because all that Costco had were those packs that included the worthless charger. You paid for that charger, but it was destined for the recycle pile, which made the per-battery price rise above what you could get at Amazon. It looks like Costco got the message and is now stocking just the batteries, without the el-cheapo charger being forced upon you.

I saw those at my local Costco as well. I passed because I have a pretty fair supply already but a good deal.
