I agree, too. I feel it's important to have these "distractions", especially in a scenario where you have kids involved. Anyone who's endured a long car ride with kids has probably played "Are we there yet?" When the batteries die in their Gameboys, it won't take long for them to get bored, and having a deck of cards might kill some time.
