I was wondering if anyone here had the Maxpedition Vulture and could comment on it.

I would love to see better pictures than are on the web site so I can see where you can attach pouches and what the inside looks like.

What type of support system is in this pack? Obviously it is well made, but is there structural support if you carry heavy loads?

Thanks,

-john

John,

I recently got a Condor pack and I love it. I looked at the vulture, but I went with the Condor instead. The pack has no support system such as a frame, etc, but it is comfortable to wear, even when it is loaded down. The Condor has quite a few adjustment straps that I have yet to get figured out.

I posted some pictures of my attachment points in a post earlier in the forum. Look for posts done by me and the title is TIme for a new backpack...Maxpedition Condor.

The attachment system is very easy and slef explanitory.

Good luck, you wont be disappointed by the Condor.

Garrett

except for some special waterproof backpacks ( usually a drysack with straps ), no backpack is waterproof, the fabric might be waterproof, but the seams aren't sealed and zippers aren't waterproof either.

good point, thats what i meant though is the fabric waterproof?

i had an old backpack that was pretty water resistant and the flaps hung over the zippers just a little, to keep the inside nice and dry on bad days.
