I am going on a camping trip through Oklahoma and Arkansas. I will be using my GOlite Cave 2 Shelter , witch is very light and small when packed. But I would like to have a backup tent that is a cheap and tough tent (under $80) that i can get in case of the seasonally common thunder storm in OKlahoma W/ lots of rain. I need this because the Cave is a tarp w/ no floor. and is set up like ...well a Tarp!!

Any suggestions?

Try the Sportsmans Guide (websearch, can't remember their address at the moment). They've got a couple different bivvys under your price ceiling, and I've been happy with everything I've gotten from them so far.

Both Terrill Hoffman and I recently acquired and tested the Tetragon 5 at PWYPIII. (Terrill had the '04 version, I had the '03 version.) The T5 performed well and Eureka offers several others that fit your needs and budget, too.
