Matt,
You're a bad influence! <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I've already got an order coming from them for flashlights. I'm gonna need a 12-step program...

I just got my Bail Out Bag, metal match, and $5 am/fm radio today. Radio works, haven't had time to check out the rest of the gear, due to an impending move. I think I am going to be pleased, based on initial impressions of the bag. CountyComm could get a bunch of my money, pretty easily.

I've bought stuff from Cold Steel and it always shipped reasonably promptly (not instantly). 3 weeks is a bit long, I'd give them a call.

CountyComm added 2 items this morning. They have the USGI Fire Starter Aviation NSN 168 01 233 0061 for $6.00. This is a small "kit" in a OD plastic box that contains the sparker , tinder and instructions. They also have disposable razors that are a contract item for the Canadian Forces, they are 5 for $1.00 and look like the blue Bic razors.

I'm also hooked on CountyComm. I just received 2 firesteels, $5 AM/FM Radio, $10 Shortwave which works great for the price, and another Inova X5T flashlight. Try their $1 LED pocketlights and you buy them to stuff everywhere! (I did!) Anyway, thats it!!

What size batteries do those LED lights use?
I need some CR2032 for my red dot sight and it may be cheaper to buy the lights just for the batteries.

The red models use one CR2032 and the blue and white models use two CR2016's. You can also get CR2032's at low prices in small quantity from www.batterystation.com or in higher quantity at www.digi-key.com (.50/cell from batterystation in qty 1, even less per cell in high quantity from digikey).

I love the stuff available from Countycomm, but they don't ship outside the U.S. So there's not much point going to the site. ( except to dream of course).
I sent an email recently to ask if there was anyway I could order stuff. No reply. Calling isn't that easy with the time differences and as the policy is not to ship is it worth trying. (Sorry rant off).
