After just a bit of "Knife Testing", I cut the "cargo container" off my then new BK-10 sheath. Last place I want to carry stuff is where it makes me wider. I put a small container in the sheath pocket to see what it was like to carry stuff there and almost immediatly got it hung up on some brush. Then It got tangled in the seat-belt of my truck.

I eventually modified the sheath a lot to make it thinner and a high rider.

Personally I would not get a sheath with a cargo compartment.
