This sort of stunt must make rescuers shake their heads. What could possibly go wrong? Maybe they were looking for 15 seconds of youtube fame. I guess we were all young and immortal once.

Most 70 year olds, and most ladies of any age would have brains enough not to do that.

The teens were very fortunate that they were not charged for a criminal offense.

I'm surprised they weren't ticketed for general j@ck@ss behaviour; surely there's a bylaw. I guess it added a little interest to a slow day at the firehall. If they'd had a dunk in the icy water it would have cooled their enthusiasm considerably. There was a bridge a short way downstream and the piers have a way of adding interest.
