I'm a life member of the NRA and definitly pro-gun ownership.

In addition to the above statement, I don't like being misled with the "Chemical fire in Georgia" crap.

You are doing a disservice to gun owners by misleading the uninterested to a pro-gun site under the guise of interesting information.

Hi, I've been lurking for a very long time now.

I thought that this was an inappropriate link too but it's just that the whole page takes a while to load. Then if you scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll see pictures and a personal account of what happened there. Politics-free. <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

BTW, since this is my first post: I'm totally untutored in survival and the preparedness mentality, but I'm working on it. I suppose it's preaching to the choir here, but Doug's site has been an incredible resource.

Wellspring:

When I went to the link yesterday, it opened with an "AR-15 door" that you had to press to enter, and then it went to a home page. Today, it opened into the discussion forum.

I still feel it was not the best link to the disaster occurring in Georgia which should have been the main focus of the link.
