Lucky indeed, some very basic supplies in his pockets would have been a HUGE help here, will be sharing this story with the Troop.

They should have pinged his phone right away. Yes, a few basic supplies would have ended it much sooner and kept him warmer. A little training would help anyone going into the woods to prepare for such a situation.

Supplies on you, in your pocket, can prevent it getting to the point of hallucinations.
