That's a very interesting checklist. It reminds me of a situation during Hurricane Ike a few years ago when a huge freighter broke loose during the storm in the Houston Ship Channel. It was drifting perilously close to the Ship Channel Bridge when a number of towboat crews pushed the freighter up against the banks of the Ship Channel and held it there under power until the storm abated.
