I am not interested in having a 830 pound gorilla as my water supply. I much prefer a dispersed supply in smaller containers. I would much rather deal with leaks in smaller containers, as well.

a Waterbob limits use of the bathtub also... I have only one bathroom, and place a 33 gal plastic trashcan in the tub/shower and fill it for bathing and flushing...it still gives me access to the tub drain...at 8.3# per gallon, a 5 gal can is about all I want to lug around... I have a mix of the Scepter cans (did not see the need for the heavier duty MWC military water cans)and older (15+ years) Coleman and Aquatainers with handy spigots...a Sawyer .1micron 5 gal system, Sawyer Mini in the car, and Clorox, and NaDCC pool shock for chlorination round out my water preps... I store in the house
