I made it through the TSA a bunch of times with my Swiss+Tech Utili-Key. If you want to have a keychain multitool on the plane, this seems like an option!

Which version? Is it the one with about 2" of blade or the one with about 3/4" back near the hinge? The one with the shorter blade should pass as a pair of scissors.

Whether it makes it through or not, it does qualify as a prohibited item. Carry at your own risk.

I'd rather not risk confiscation or missing my plane just to carry something I'm certain I won't use. Anyway, for what would you use that on the plane?

I've used it to open a bottle of medication on the plane.

+1 on that. I never had a need for a tool. I mean if do get something packed, your hands will do. If not the flight attendent will have something.

These tools are way too small to work well, don't really consider them to be usefull in a emergency either.
