I upgraded my maglite for nostalgic reasons and because I was curious how it would work out. Well, technically it worked out really well. But the lights I actually use are the much smaller AA and 18650 form factor. The maglite stays at the shelve.


My LED-upgraded 3D Maglite is excellent for emergency repair tasks in bad weather, like clearing a clogged drain in a storm. For all that they've fallen way behind the times in performance, they're rugged as all heck.
