Our fire season started off early with high temps and a two big brushfires in Riverside California. A man has been arrested for starting one. It would seem he operates a junkyard and dragged a 4'x8'x1" steel plate behind his truck down the road. The resulting sparks set off a nice fire. In keeping with Californian reputation for wierdness, the T.V. reporter stated " a fire plane was assisting by dropping a retard on the blaze." maybe it was the junkman's brother <img src="images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />.
