This isn't strictly survival related, so I posted here.

I finally saw the Alox Victorinox Soldier the other day in Target. Can anyone tell me why there is no keyring or provision for one?

I'd like to buy a Soldier for myself, but the lack of a keyring is kind of a deal-killer for me.

The pioneer model has a key ring attachment.

My understanding is this model is the contract specified version for the Swiss Army. They must have specified no ring.

I agree that this is a great feature on a SAK. My preference is for the Farmer model with the saw. SMKW has good prices on many of the Alox SAK's
