For those interested, sorry I didn't get this out sooner, but I've been busy lending a hand with recovery.
The devastation in Utica can't really be described. There are two blocks down town that are GONE... total loss.
Several homes are damaged beyond repair, and many more have substantial damage.
My parents live in Utica, and luckily (by the grace of God), their place wasn't hit.
The response from neighboring cities and towns has been greatfully overwealming, but the recovery is going to take quite a while.
Many neighboring businesses and organizations were quick to respond with needed supplies and help, I'm deeply proud of my community for the needed support they have shown for both Utica and Granville, we had help from all over the state.
I'm headed back this afternoon to help out some more, thanks in advance for your thoughts and well wishes.
