All of these are great! Spot on, really. I guess my submission would be that you might be new if your B.O.B. is a backpack that weighs 90lbs and you're never tried to it on or hiked with it.

Different batteries can be a good thing. It can allow you to use the batteries that you have on hand or reduce the size of the back-up. My EDC is either a 2xAA or 2x123 and a 1xAAA. The AAA is only for back-up or second light use with a lithium battery (coin cells are usually nearly dead when I go to use them). By the time the primary light and the lithium in the AAA, most places will probably be out of AA, may be out of 123, but might still have AAA.

Where can I get me a tactical kitten Granted, my kitten has 5 independent attachment points, tiger stripe camo & built-in night vision but I'd neeeed a tacticool model Severn. If you count the ears. Some what more if you use the whiskers..

I have Tactical Dogs. They are short legged, each has their own camouflage pattern, and they will do anything for a Milk Bone (no affiliation). Both of them have quadrupedal drive train systems, good optics, great sound sensors, and are equipped with strong burgler repelling sound producing devices in both Arf and Ruff languages. They are both equipped with marking devices which are able to be detected by a well trained nose, but are not detectable by optics under most conditions, at least after the marking material has dried. Both respond to voice command although there are apparently some computer glitches in their voice recognition software. All their software is kept secure under a hardened calcium armour plating. The Tactical dogs do have a built in "clap on-clap off" switch built into their software program. It was a patch applied to try and solve some of their voice recognition programming glitches.

Just add a lot of water, a little meat like pork, a little salt, and 12hrs of low heat.
Pour beans over rice if you 're in a Cajun mood or over cornbread if you're in a Texian mood.

Try giving an old tomcat that's never had one a bath without welder's gloves (the ones that go halfway up your arms). Dude, those things are self-cleaning! Usually no human washing is required unless they get into some deep doodoo. Revised "tell": if you try to bathe your cat, you're new at this.

I was < 5 at the time & thought kitty needed a bath! Had about 1/4" of water in the tub & tried to set him in. One claw (not one paw full, one scratch) & I had the sense to let him go his way & I went mine. I figured out real quick about cats being self washing. The only way I'd try to wash a cat today is start the shower, close the door, & toss cat over the top of the door.

You don't EDC a Kleenex go pack Oops. Guilty as charged. I EDC a bandana instead (hip pocket, right) As my daughter recently pointed out, it is easier for a male to EDC things. Guys pretty much always wear pants with 2 front pockets, 2 back pockets and a belt at a minimum. Girls have a much more varied wardrobe. I suppose girls can carry purses though.

May not be as good for the environment; Kleenex is more sanitary. I suppose girls can carry purses though. Of course! How else does one EDC a D-cell MAG-LITE, first aid kit, EMT shears, medications, sunscreen, Kleenex, lip balm, eyeglass case, bottled water and an organizer? Jeanette Isabelle

Jeanette Isabelle I've found myself using a County Comm Gaffer's Bag to carry all sorts of sundry items. They are not a backpack and have nowhere near the volume, but they can carry lots of different items and those items can be heavy. YMMV, for some applications it's ideal.

A lot of people wear black. it slenderizes and looks quite nice, especially on blondes. Somehow I suspect black on Deathwind is not so appealing...

Usually in the back pocket alas. Which, as I keep telling my wife, rather spoiles the view when it comes to her pride and joy. She's a Zulu by the way married to an English Saxon (me).

Jeanette Isabelle Sing it, sista! My purse is the perfect PSK - it's carries all the basics and men are instinctually afraid to go near it. LOL!

most girl clothes have pockets, they just don't use them. Of course we do. Where do you think we keep the cell phone? Jeanette Isabelle If you're anything like any of my ex girlfriends, my pocket. If you're like my wife, then typically lost in her car, the diaper bag, or ... you guessed it ... my pocket.

BOATMAN
Relax brother. I was just having some fun with the subject. Absolutely no offense was taken. In fact I'm probably one of the hardest to insult on this forum. My work uniform is tactical boots, tactical pants or shorts and form fitting tee shirt, all in black. And I wear a lot of black off duty. Again, no offense taken.

Lol Hikermor. What makes you say that? I suspect you are just not my type for romance. Be very glad....BTW, my wife is a stunning blonde (most beautiful object in the universe) who does indeed look fabulous in black

Are you confirming what I said, against it or just making a neutral comment?

Hey now... The newer generations of MREs are actually quite good and convenient.
You're new at this if you don't field strip the MREs.

You're new at this if you have never tried out your gear in a practical sense.

Two words: tactical swimsuit You obviously don't plan on using your equipment to attract fish.
