I bought a jar of Potassium permangenate at Sears Hardware. It's used to clean water softners. I found a web reference for the Kenmore 20 oz. bottle fo $13. But I think I bought a smaller bottle for around $7 about 2 years ago. Of couse a bottle goes a long way!
