We are putting up another 30 pints of Corned Beef Hash. Thank you St. Patrick; corned beef is on sale finally. Also putting up 40 pints of ground beef. That'll have us well over 300 pints of canned meat products (chicken, ground beef, beef stew, chili, corned beef hash, and beef franks). I still have 30 lbs of pork butt to turn into sausage, as well as 40 lbs of ham to do something with, all still in the freezer.

6 months from now I hope to be doing this with moose meat, caribou, and salmon. It is easy enough paying for the meat, but I need to go get my own. Sure wish I could find a cheap and easy way to move my cattle up from Texas. But that ain't gonna happen.

I've been seriously considering putting up some pickled eggs again. Sometimes a pickled egg and a shot of gin at midnight is just the sort of tonic these old bones need.

I also worked up a decent recipe for my 45 reloads. Went to the range on Thursday to test it out and it is a winner. Will have to stuff up a hundred or so more.
