I currently use one I cobbled together from a strip of black leather cord that is square rather than round. But I have become aware of ways in which I could improve upon it.

If any of my fellow forum members are using a lanyard they bought on the Web that they would recommend, please tell me about it.

I'm looking for a lanyard whose length is easily adjustable, perhaps with a well-made sliding bead, with a swivel snap hook or some sort of ring to hold my gear. I'd like it to be black in color and round in shape.

Any recommendations?

Have a look for "Ranger Ricks" survival necklace. Just the job.
