http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-surrey-26098944A week ago, reports of dangerously high levels of bacterial of flood water contamination were reported in the UK National press due to standing stagnant water due to the continuing flooding of areas of the previous 6 weeks due to the mixing with sewage and septic tanks effluents. These reports were then dismissed by the Government as not representing a health hazard to the public. The bacteria levels were measured around 10,000 times WHO guidelines for safe drinking water in the 3rd world.
Considering the Police response, this incident could well indicate a Cholera outbreak within 20-30 miles of the centre of London on the same river Thames which passes through London.
