Just saw this on the CPF, I do not know if they still have them, but I can think of a dozen or more survival situations, where one would come in handy. The manufacturer is well known and the price seems right. If you have extra cash to spend, they have a number of interesting items and if you spend $50 or more the domestic shipping is free. I have nothing to do with the company, but thought I would pass along the info. Pete

I have bought a few things from this company, reputable outfit. Plus, they take Paypal, so you don't have to give yet another person your CC number.

Just received the shears from Countycomm.com. They are bulk packed and marked USA. There is provision in the handle for a lanyard. The locking mechanism is a PUSH in to lock, and squeezing the handles releases the lock. Not much to test them on here at work. The cutting blades are nice and thick, nothing cheap here. Given the price, I can see putting a pair in the car and using a couple as stocking stuffers .
